As it says in the About Us section, Barb and I have also adapted and edited a lot of manga. Here’s some of it–

Here’s another– V. B. Rose. Barb adapted a few volumes of this for Tokyopop.

Here’s a wacky fantasy manga that Barb adapted (I helped a little). We adapted all five volumes of this for Tokyopop.
We did quite a lot for Tokyopop– about half (the latter half) of the title Satisfaction Guaranteed, for example– so I won’t try to list them all. And then there’s the manga I edited for Del Rey Manga, and boy did I give those a close going-over. But– like Tokyopop in this particular way– they couldn’t make it work forever, and the house editors ended up being forced to do more and more, because there just wasn’t the money to spend on freelancers to do things for them anymore.
Of course, we also wrote a manga for Tokyopop as part of their pilot program: The Hidden, drawn by manga artist Chezhina Svetlana, who sometimes works under the pen name Midorikawa Tsuyoshi. But the week it was to get approved was the week everything at Tokyopop really started falling apart business-wise, so aside from people seeing a couple dozen pages of the story online, nothing more ever came of it. It sure was pretty, though… it had teens and genies and magic and all kinds of cool stuff. We got the rights back, so if anyone ever wants us to write it as a novel or anything, let us know…!
I didn’t post the whole thing below, just some art and a few pages– what’s below isn’t the whole story.
Anyway, note that like a lot of manga (that is, when you get to the actual pages below), it reads right to left.
